My chevy blazer 2000 ha a p0101 code changed the mass air flow sensor still does not want to accelerate

Hi there:
This code is set when the MAF (Mass Air Flow) meter is not sending the PCM the correct information. This can be due to a bad conection of the rubber intake hose between the MAF and the Throttle plate opening, a dirty air filter, a dirty mass air flow or a bad mass air flow.

Most programmer have you tie into the iat sensor in the mass air flow. this can cause the the iat sensor oto short out.

Hope helps.

Need to know where the mass air flow sensor is on a 2002 chevy blazer, 6 cylender 4wheel drive

The mass air flow sensor is located on the top in line from the air filter, heres a picture of it, remember its clamped into the air inlet hose that goes to feed air to the engine and it goes from the air filter box to the throtlebody.johnjohn2_80.jpg
