94 Honda Accord-Automatic shifter stuck in park

Automatic shifter stuck in park, manual override doesn't work. When the problem began, it was coincided by a wire in the main wire harness burning up. We replaced the harness but the shifter is still locked down. Need this fixed badly.

Honda Accord 1993 EX is stuck on Park. It doesn't budge if I start the car and it doesn't budge if i try to shift to N,P,D4,D3

Use your ignition key and stick it straight down into the slot marked shift lock, next to the shifter. That will allow you to shift it into neutral. Leave it there, remove the key from that slot and start the car. You will then be able to shift into drive, from neutral, and be on your way.

My honda accord 2003 automatic wont let me put gear shift from Park To drive. I cant press de button to make it get to drive

Sounds like your brake interlock is not working. You can manually override it. Check your owners manual, but there should be a small square around the trim around the shifter. Pry up the square and there is a release mechanism to manually release the solenoid. It should be covered in your owners manual how to override it.
I think to replace it you need to take apart the shifter trim.

Stuck in Park - 2001 Honda Accord 4cyc - Automatic

there is a solenoid on the shifter assembly that allows you to depress the button on the shifter to shift from park. this solenoid is controlled by the brake light switch on your brake pedal arm under the dash. you could have a bad brake light switch, bad wiring, or a bad solenoid on the shifter assembly. if your brake lights work properly, the brake light switch should be okay, and you'd start checking wiring to the solenoid. if the wiring tests good then you should replace the solenoid. you may need to buy the entire shifter assembly as most solenoids are not available seperatly.

Shifter stuck in Park

Next to the shifter (on drivers side) there is a small rubber plug. If you remove the plug and push the end of a key down in the hole, it will relase the shifter. I ended up taking mine in after having the same problem several times and it was pretty inexpensive to fix.

My Accord's shifter is stuck in ''Park'' ; Cruise doesn't work now

Most likely are. Check to see if your brake switch performs both functions. Does it do the cruise and the brake/park lock.
