2001 lincoln LS has 131 K miles. Mechanics have replaced 3 coil packs. I want to do the rest. In detail, how is it done? Does battery need to be disconnected? Are the spark plug covers on each side of engine connected by nuts that need to be removed?
Its not a easy job, but you need to get the gasket so it wont leak, theirs some tutorials online, if you dont want them to burn out, dont put the covers back on when you change them, it creates a suction and heat which makes oil spill and burn the coils

I believe that trans is of the 5R55N/S/W family, and the fluid level AND fill are both located on the bottom trans pan.There is a procedure and fill cautions as well as tools required,as per Ford Motor Co.

One of 2 ways.......
#1) mounting screws on the exterior of the brake light lens.
#2) in the trunk behind the carpeting, usually this is the easiest way. either way the bulb is held in by a twist lock bulb holder.

it is down under the intake manifold. the intake manifold must be removed to get to it. this vehicle is known for developing a vacum leak in the elbow hose that connects to pcv valve, so ive done a few.
