Changed fob batteries. Have 3 remotes all programmed to the car. Fobs all light up when buttons are pressed. The remote will not do anything: lock or unlock doors or open side doors.
Check wiring. Seems some wires are crossed.

dont go through all the hassles of removing the door trim just take the terminal off the battery for about a minute then reconect again worked on mine good luck

You need to get one that works on the same wide range frequency as the reciever in the car, and then it's a simple matter of opening both the new and old fobs, and matching the fine frequency settings by putting the little switches inside where they should be according to the old fob's switches. If there are no switches in the old fob, it's preset and there's not much you can do about it.

Follow the remote programming all the way through. If you miss the final confirming of the remote, it will not work. Also, for more remotes (up to 3) there is a procedure for those at the same time.
