You can also clear off logged faults. I was on the freeway this summer and got a worrisome transmission error code, checked the code, cleared it, turned my car off and back on, everything was fine. If someone recently changed your sparkplugs, they may not have re-attached something properly. You can try removing the negative/black cable off your battery for 10 seconds then re-attach it securely and see if that resets the code at all. If not, take it back to the mechanic that changed your plugs.

My sensor light stayed on and my mechanic found where the wires that hooked together for the sensors were corroded and not making contact. He pulled them apart and cleaned them and now every thing works. and lights out. Hope this helps.

There should be access from inside, right behing the light itself. Open the back hatch, and look to either side (bad bulb side) and see if there is a small "door" that you can access it. If not, and it's not externally accessable, than you may need to pull the inside panel side off get to it.
