Why i cant find any o2 sensor in my 1992 toyota corolla AE101, 4A-FE engine?

Replace the sensor with a genuine OEM Denso.

NOT 4AFE (ended in 2001)
state side, we had 3 engine, non are 1.6L
the 1NZ-FE 1.5L
the 1ZZ-FE and 2ZZ-FE both are 1.8L
so what country are you in, ?
find true engine name (under hood,read stickers)
and google for that, I promise you will find it.

as you can see 1.6L tells nothing.
only the real name works , getting specs on any engine.

run fault codes to determine if O2 sensors are at fault. Check MAF/MAP sensors Replace air filter. Have a pressure test done on the fuel manifold to check for excessive injector pressure. Check injectors are working correctly and that the seal at the tips is good

There were two engine types in the year 2001. Toyota corolla 3ZZ-FE and 4A-FE. Speed meter problem may be due to the following reasons:
- Speed meter connector disconnected/corroded at the transmission.
- Wiring harness.
- Vehicle speed sensor.
- Combination meter.
- ECU

Driving the car will not clear this trouble code, it has been stored in the ECU. You must remove the EFI fuse from the engine bay relay block for at least 60 sec, or disconnect the battery for that time.

I suggest check the follow diagrams, according with your engine:

Corollas made from 1993 to 1997 had two engine choices, the 1.6 liter 4A-FE and the 1.8 liter 7A-FE (click here for many details, comparisons, and diagrams).

check on PDFsearch made simple by print. you will get manual on car engines

you might have to swap a couple sensors but they are the same engine.

An engine from another Corolla up to 1997 will fit. There are 2 engines though. 4A-fe (1.6L) or a 7A-fe (1.8L) They look similar but run different Engine managment computers. The 4A-fe uses a 3spd auto trans and the 7A-fe uses a 4spd auto trans. Also some of the wiring may be different.
