Why does my 1995 ford probe idles fine, but when i push the accelerator it won't accelerate over 20 mph?

duck tape on the air intake. I just fixed mine. There is a crack on the intake that lets too much air in when you put it in drive that makes the car stall. Try it it works.

have you tried having your fuel injectors cleaned on it. the engine might not be getting enough gas at take off. it might also be that your gas tank fuel pump or the other fuel pump going bad

Have you tried cleaning out your throttle body and plenum. That is a good quick fix for throttle responce. Especially the throttle body. They make some pretty good cleaning chemicals to do this.

BECAUSE HAVE KEPT UP WITH MAINTENANCE ON YOUR CAR REPIARS AND WHAT NEED TO BE FIX
