SOURCE: how to replace timing belt and tensioner on 95 1.9

Best idea is to get a repair book from an autoparts store. But it's going to involve removing the spark plug from the number 1 cylinder and bringing the engine to top dead center before starting anything else. Is it Dual overhead cam? those can be tricky... I've seen one be completely inline and still bent every valve on startup. It's a sucky job.

When do you know that you need the timing belt change in a ford aspire 1995 model if you don't have the history of the car?

Honestly there is no way with out the maintence history. The timing belt is located under a cover bolted to the front of the motor. Typically the belt is replaced between 60,000 and 100,000 miles pending on what the OEM recomends. You could try to contact your local Ford dealer's service or parts dept. If you give them the VIN number for your vehicle (located on the dash or on the drivers door) they should be able to look up the maintence history for that vehicle done at the dealer. If the belt was replaced by the dealer they would have the record of it. Otherwise, your only other option is to take the timing belt cover off and inspect to see if it is worn out, but if your going to go thru that hastle, you might as well replace the belt anyway.

I need to replace the timing CHAIN on a 1995 ford FALCON EF how much will it cost for the kit

The 95 Ford Falcon was a vehicle not available in the states however, Ford still used engines found in Ford explorers. If you are repairing this State-Side, go to your local auto parts store, and have them get a timing chain kit for a 95 Ford Explorer. The entire Kit will run you close to $20 USD. This is strictly for the chain itself. Usually if you are digging in this deep, you will want to replace the water pump, belts, and change oil. This of course adds to the price.

Changing the AC belt in a 1994 ford aspire. any diagrams or tips? How long should the job take?

Power Steering Pump
See Figures 9, 10, 11 and 12
  1. Remove the air cleaner intake tube and air cleaner assembly.
  2. Loosen the power steering pump bolt and the adjustment locknut. Make sure the belt is properly seated on the pulley before adjustment.
    1. Turn the adjustment bolt to set the belt tension.
    2. Use Rotunda offset belt tension gauge 021-0028A, or equivalent, and following the tool manufacturers instructions, adjust the belt to the following specifications:

New belt: 110-132 lbs. (50-60 kg). Run the engine for 10 minutes, then readjust the tension to 110-132 lbs. (50-60 kg). Used belt: 95-110 lbs. (43-50 kg).
    3. Tighten the power steering pump bolt to 27-38 ft. lbs. (37-52 Nm).
    4. Tighten the adjustment locknut to 14-19 ft. lbs. (19-25 Nm).
    5. Install the air cleaner and intake tube.

95 ford aspire turns overm won't fire

You might want to check the distributor rotor. I had a 1997 ford aspire that died and would not restart and i changed the rotor and it started right back up and kept on trucking. If that does not work you need to check to see if the engine is getting fuel and check to see if the timing belt is not broken.
