take it too a new mechanic its your crank shaft sensor i have seen them same cars all the time with that problem its almost allway the crank shaft sensor ones it was the control mod but only ones out of mabe 100

Check and make sure your battery cables are clean and tight. You may want to check your ground wires inside the car, under the carpet. I had a bad ground under there.

Replace the crank sensor as they get hot they will sometimes quit working. The temp light comes on everytime the engine is turned off and the switch is on. Next time it dies spray or pour some water on the sensor then see if it will crank and if it does you know what it is.

on that motor they are prone to blowen head gaskets you need to do pressure check of the cooling system
