If you can drive it for a long time then it is not the alternator. The battery has a short charge duration and it is old. There is a parasitic drain on the system that is draining it when it is not running.

SOURCE: 2003 Honda Accord. Dies when I try to put it in drive

you are having a problem with your alternator. the battery has a main purpose to start the vehicle, keep computer memory, and give power to electrical components when the key is in the on position. the alternator charges the battery and gives power to electrical components when the vehicle is running. now when you hit the brakes there was an extra load added to the alternator and if the car died then the alternator is running very weak and needs to be relace.

QUESTION: Without a jump, does the motor crank when you turn the key to "START"?

If you can jump start it, then you know you have spark, fuel and compression; you know your starter and ignition are fine.

My guess is a loose/missing connection at the positive battery terminal for your starter.

My Honda Accord wont start even with a jump. The lights come on but wont turn over. No click, no sound, no nothing

IT's those short drives that burn down a battery! The starting of an engine requires mucho electric to get it running. The alternator then charges the battery, but slowly! If you also have the lights and stereo on it is even slower. Get the battery FULLY charged with a commercial battery charger. Then check to see if the alternator is charging up the battery after you start it. If not, replace the alternator. If the battery dies overnight or in a few days...replace the battery.

Brand new battery, won't start, will with jump.

It sounds like your alternator is not charging your battery properly. I would have that tested.

94 accord won't start

The Main Relay under the dash, close to the steering. Brown or Gray box with about 8 wires tend to go bad at relay contacts inside. To troubleshoot, turn ignition key to on position and tap the relay box, you should hear fuel pump activate. If it starts, the relay is bad. If it does'nt, you need to check voltage and grounds at relay wires. Everything else you mentioned seems to be okay. I had 3 hondas, different years that have done the same thing. Good luck
