Truck stalls when I give it gas

I have a 99 Chevy suburban 1500 that stalls when driving. When taking off from a stop it stalls. I had the fuel pump changed about 2 1/2 years ago.The manifold intake gasket and timing chain about 3 weeks ago and after they were change that's when the truck started stalling. So I changed the Distributor, rotor, plugs, wire & fuel filter a week ago. I changed the MAP sensor yesterday and it still stalls could it be the MAF sensor or somethig else?

It sounds like they have got the distributor out of time. You will need to adjust the distributor. That is what it sounds like.

ok here we go, hook up a feul pressure guage that can be read from inside the car, and check fuel pressure while driving, if the pressure stays fairly constant then the best bet is to hook up a real time scanner with snapshot capabilities ( like snap on or bdm pro) and take it for a drive again, ti could be a sensor reading out of range but not enough to set a code

99 chevy silverado running rough and stalling.

the problem you are discribing would lead me to belive your fuel filter is clogged which is a simple fix 3 dollar part at any part store or on the worse hand your fuel pump itself could be weak you can open the gas tank cover and have another person turn the truck key to the on position without going far enough to start you will hear a faint whining noise if it is going bad or a louder noise if it is fine Good Luck

92 Chevy Suburban Electrical Fuel System

Check fuel flter at fuel pick-up intank (looks like a small wire sock). Remove fuel filter and fitting at fuel rail. Blow out fuel lines w/about 35lbs air press. Ck electrical @ relay - should be 4 connectors - one is key on hot/one is always hot/one is ground and last is hot to fuel pump. Good Luck
