I have a 1991 GMC jimmy. Run fine until I pulled

The splined end on these new axle shafts has three snap ring grooves in three places so they are compatible with all types of automatic and manual lockout hubs plus all full-time solid splined drive gears.

check the fuel pump relay, some gm vehicles default to the oil pressure switch if the FPR fails.

Could be your neutral-safety switch.

did you change connector at fuel pump?

I would have the battery tested.If that is not the problem.i would have the starter tested. This can all be done at a parts store.The other thing would be a fuel related problem,such as watered down gas.

chek filters for fuel on frame and in tank

change your some sensors that can probably cause your engine to run rough, ask you local oarts store for more info...

Sometimes when a starter is starting to go bad they will do this.  As they heat up they won't spin fast enough to get the car started.  Take it to an auto parts store and have them test it several times to recreate it being hot and they should be able to let you know if it is good or not.  Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions.  Thanks for an honest rating and for using FixYa!

you might want to check that you gapped the plugs properly dont just go bye the parts store telling you that the plugs are pregapped cause thats ******** there never right and it could also make you,re vehicle sparkknock really bad if there not gapped right could be you,re problem but just a little friendly advice

Try to unplug the mass airflow sensor and start it. It will idle higher but should run fine. If it works then you need a MAF sensor. Be sure you have an OBDII code puller to clear the computer when done
