Can I program a keyfob for a 2009 Dodge Journey using 2 transponder chip keys?

if the car battery was flat nothing would display
its possibly the key has lost its coding or the transponder chip in the key is faulty.
It can also be the reader coil in the key

May be keyfob needs reprogramming.

Try with brand new key fob battery and see.If that helps.
Otherwise May be keyfob needs to be reprogrammed.

Most of these German cars use a transponder in the keyfob. If you replaced yours, and it hasn't been programmed to the car's ECU, then the anti-theft will not allow it to start due to the transponder mismatch.

I just changed the battery in my fob for 2011 Journey Crew, with the battery removed ( from fob ) I did start my car by pushing the start button whith my fob... so the theory is tested and true.... also the battery you'll need is CR2032 available everywhere... and removing the battery will NOT remove the programming of your fob ( also tested )... so no need to visit the "steelership" Hope this helps....

ur dodge might have a dead battery but more likely its because of a faulty ignition system.
