SOURCE: How do I change the turn signal bulb on 2000 Ford Mustang

Actually its easier that what the other guy said. lift your hood, look at the headlight there will be two rods that u can pull on the top of the light where it sits in the frame. pull those and u can then pull your headlight out, that will make it alot easier to get to.

Hope This Helps.

SOURCE: Replace Passenger Side Mirror on 2002 Ford F-150

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

SOURCE: trying to replace airbag on ford mustang 2001 base

drivers2_bing.gif air bag is simple...
on the side of the steering wheel you will find two little circles/plugs that need to be removed. once removed there will be two little bolts, possibly torx. once removed the air bag is unplugged and removed

passenger side is a little more difficult and there are 6 bolts, 8mm if I remember correctly.

however, if you are replacing them because of an accident then you will also need to replace the clock spring in addition to the crash sensors

Mustang gt 5.0 inside passenger side car in motion auto trans in drive or neutral, knocking noise heard from transmission area

check your torque converter bolts/nuts.
and if it ONLY makes the noise when it's in neutral or drive NOT moving I'd suspect a front pump torque converter. You can unhook the torque converter to isolate this diagnosis... If it ONLY happens when the vehicle is in motion you might be looking in the wrong place

Hi, have you checked for intake manifold gasket leaks? Pretty common on Ford V-6. With engine running, spray carb cleaner on the gaskets. If the engine speed changes, you have a gasket leak (yes, driver's side of the manifold).
Thanks for using FixYa.

Where is the starter located on a 1992 Mustang 5.0?

The starter is located on the passenger side along side the oil pan of the engine but mounted to the bellhousing of the transmission. It is difficult to see from up top because of the exhaust manifold or header. From underneath the car with it jack and secured safely on jack stands and with the wheels blocked, you will find it inboard of the passenger side frame rail and exhaust.

If you need to change it, it is mounted with two 7/16" bolts which can be removed with a 9/16" wrench or socket. There will also be wiring to disconnect. Make sure you specify the year and also auto or standard transmissions as the starters are different.

Best of luck

I cant get to a bolt on the exhaust manifold help its a mustang svt cobra, R reg its the bottom bolt on the right hand side of the exhaust manifold just having a nightmare getting to it

You might have to jack the front of the Car up and get it from underneath, That would be the simplest way of doing it, those manifold gaskets and bolts can be a pain but if you dont tighten them to spec, they will leak and make a ticking noise in your engine bay, at least until the metal had expanded and closed the leak.
