How do I fix the rear air conditioner on my Acura MDX 2004?
If like older style vans it will have second compressor at back of vehicle this probably needs a charge or new compressor
Now the other part is if it has running ducts you need to see if any cracked or split from front to back
Run snake cam threw air ducts wont cost anything for a look at any mechanic shop
Belts barrings and tensioners check out
Pull off belt and turn ac by hand if theres resistance replace compressor
Your dryer on system could need a clean out and cabin filter

check the fuse and the relays for the fan motors.if thats ok check to see if it is vacuum operated controls and that none of the pipes are off or split.

Bluetooths have batteries, Rechargeable. If it won't hold a charge replace the batt.
SOURCE: 2004 Acura MDX Water Leak
The 2002 MDX I worked on turned out to be a drainage problem . Seems the factory installed foam in the bottom of the hinge pillar post which blocked the drain holes . Take off the mud flap , remove enough of the splash shield to access the bottom of the hinge pillar and drill a half inch hole at the front lower corner aiming the drill slightly upward ( be sure to protect the bare metal) .Water gushed out when I did this. For extra ins. remove the kick panels and check for two holes a few inchs from the floor, plug and chaulk these holes. Hope this worksfor you too

Sound like a problem with the a defective transistor / resistor. If the A/C is out in
your Acura MDX and the charge system and fuse checks good, a new transistor will likely
solve your problem.
The front transistor is located next to the blower motor under the dash
on the passenger's side. It is secured by three or four small bolts.
The one on the bottom left is very close to the carpet and the most
difficult to get off and put back on.
The rear transistor is located behind the carpeted trim panel on the
center console (driver's side). The carpeted trim panel is secured by
clips only - there are no screws, so remove it carefully starting at the
side near the accellerator pedal. Once the panel has been removed,
reach inside a small hole in the metal frame to access the rear
transistor. It is removed by twisting it and pulling it out. The hole
in the frame is small and you might find pliers helpful.
After replacing both parts, the front and rear A/C are working.
Apparently these transistors are common failures.
Hope helps.
