bmw z4 alternator help cracked alternator upper mount 2003 z4 head light ... Before putting my car in storage a few months ago my old battery was nearly dead I needed to... in a Z4) but the same big yellow battery light is still on my dash appearing for .... Hi guys I own a 2005 Z4 2.5i Auto and there is a weird whining sound.

x3 wont start... charged battery and still died, ideas ...

OK, long story but here it goes (hopefully the length will help with ... I hook the jumpstarter up to the battery, let it sit 1-2 minutes, then ... The AZ rep. tells me that my battery is at 9V and this is why my car .... Mein Auto: 2004 X3 2.5i ... If battery is original (2005) it is more than likely one cell has shorted out. Z4 starter motor and related problems.

I could not start my Z this morning after not driving it for the past 4 days because of the weather. All lights come on the dash including the head lights but it won't crank. ... If the starter is not cranking because of the battery being too drained .... BMW Z4 2.5i started slow and finally would make a clicking noise.

Unfortunatley once you have entered a code wrong 3 times in a security coded radio, it is rendered U/S, this is an anti theft device so if someone steels your radio, and tries to enter code incorrectly it has a special chip that burns out ( or what ever it realy does) and then they cannot sell it or use it.

You have to bring ur radio to the dealer, sounds like u have a blown amplifier IC! It is cause by shorted wire going to ur speakers.

There is a little switch in the trunk in the middle of the panel behind the seats....check to make sure that the switch is engaged and functional...easy repair if the switch is faulty

upon finding a favorite station simply press and hold a station selection button is for 15 seconds. That will record that frequency at the button you just programmed

Radio is turn on by pressing down the left volume knob.

Just make sure your radio is turned off before removing the battery. If the radio is on and the battery is removed and replaced, the radio may get locked out. This will prompt you to enter and reset code to your radio to have it work again. Good luck and after you battery has been replaced, just reset the radio stations setting and time. 

the button on the instrument cluster to the right of the trip reset button HOLD it in till it blinks on the cluster.....bring up the time with your BC button first

prob because the cd player is getting to hot, ecspecially if you leave the top down. try putting a towel over it when it's going to be parked in the sun or something to keep it covered.
