The fuel sending unit is in the tank if you're talking about the signal for the gauge level. I believe that year model comes as a complete assembly.

SOURCE: ait sensor for 2003 nissan sentra 1.8

if it cranks for a longer time than normal and than it starts, you my friend need a new fuel pump rebuild kit/pressure regulator inside the gas tank. what happens is that the fuel will go back into the gas tank instead of staying in the fuel line and everytime you turn the key, the pump has to pump fuel all the way to the injectors again to get the car started. So, long crank and than start means fuel pump rebuild kit/pressure regulator in tank.

SOURCE: where is the fuel pressure sensor on a 2003 sentra

There isn't a fuel pressure sensor on a 2003 Sentra with a 1.8 engine, however there is a fuel pressure reguator, fuel filter and fuel pump which are located inside the fuel tank. You can gain access to it by removing the rear seat and the fuel tank access cover.

Is there an access door too the fuel pump on a Nissan 2003 Sentra

You have to remove the rear seat cushion and there is an inspection hole cover over the sending unit and fuel pump. The 2 come out as one unit. Remove the fuel line coupling and then the 6 screws holding the inspection cover on. BE CAREFUL not to bend the level sending arm. If you remove the fuel filter, make sure you mark which way it came of so it cam be put back in the same way.

Hello

After the new sensors are installed and the code still comes back, replace the timing chain. They have been known to stretch and cause the P0335 code on these engines.
