My 2008 ford expedition engine light keep coming

Most likely a power connection was shaken loose by the rumble strip. Or a partially poor circuit was shaken violently enough it shorted fully and blew a main control fuse. I would check fuses in the underhood fusebox for power (not just that they dont look blown, a multimeter or test light should be used). There is a Body control module that is triggered by the 10a ECU-IG fuse (look in your manual) and if its fuse is blown, then it cant activate the MAIN POWER RELAY, which is...the relay that powers much of what you dont have (lighting, windows, shifter, etc).

Unless you are experienced and have diagrams and locations, this could be more than the average bear can handle, Id recommend referring it to a qualified professional who has access to the wiring diagrams, component locations, plug pinouts, and can go straight to the common points. But you could try checking what I just gave you...and pray for luck.

this sounds like is a lost joint in the engine or a broken gear box

Have a load test done on the battery as it appears that you have a bad cell. have the alternator out put checked as the alternator is not keeping up with the current demand when the lights are on. Check that the drive belt is in good condition and tensioned properly.

need to find out what codes are causing the engine light to come on and then start diagnosis from there

Find out what you are losing? coolant maybe? Is it Diesel?

the breather pipes front of engine comes up from right hand side and splits into two with a pipe going into either side of the inlet manifold ,its perished and sucking in air

makes no sense other than maybe the anti lock system is messing up

i still think universal join in drive shaft is dead or could also be the bearing inside deferential or transy ...
do you hear a funny noise or some thing unusual?

check the motor mounts

best way to find out what could have happened is to have the OBD codes read and see if any codes come up
