SOURCE: The light bulb broke while in the socket. How is

i assume it was in your car,if it is open with no lens covering it,get a pair of long nosed pliers. you should be able to lever a part of the remaining metal base of the bulb grip it with the pliers ,you cant hurt it,push it inwards as you turn it anti clockwise it will come out, you may have to try acouple of times but it will come out.if you are having any trouble post it back here with a fuller description of the situation and i will give you some other options----------- good luck

SOURCE: I installed led bulbs on my 03 silverado cargo

sounds like they are not getting enough voltage. sounds more like a series, parallel problem. make sure the positive and negitive are correct too, or the light will not work at all.

Replace right front turn signal bulb

You may be able to access it from the engine compartment, or from under the car. There's a twist-out buld socket - (twist about an 1/4 quarter turn to the left) - then pull striaght back. If not accessable that way remove the light cover/lens and then the light unit - there should be enough slack in the wires to pull the assembly forward alittle to remove buld socket.

Changing the headlights

Try not to touch the buld as you do the installation. There is a access cover in the back of the head lamp. This gives you access to the headlamp. Now when you get to the light buld and socket turn counterclockwise. Then the light bulb wil come out of its socket. From here disconnect the electrical connection. Now for the installation connect the electrical socket to the headlamp bulb.Install the buld in the socket,by rotating socket clockwise locking the retaining tabs to the housing, install cover test the light and you are done2_29_2012_7_31_02_am.gif

The bulbshead lights keep going out,

If you are replacing the headlight bulbs and just a short time their bad again you need to change your techniquie in installing the bulbs. You can't touch the lens of the bulb with anything ( not your finger) or the bulb will overheat in operation and burn out. with the old bulb out and the pulg laying out to where you can get it or someone else holding it. Open the package the new bulb comes in so just the plug end sticks out of the package. holding the bulb by the package install the buld into tne socket and them hold the socket only to put it into the back of the headlight with out running into any thing as touching anything can cause the buld to fail/ If the light fixture is getting water or dirt inside of it it will need to be repalaced.

Try to get access to behind the bulb lens where the wires lead to the socket for the bulb. May have to squeeze the socket and turn a little to release it.

How do I replace burnt bulb (brake light) on my 2003 Nissan Altima

Open the back hatch door. There are two hex head bolts that hold the tail light assembly in place. Remove them. The fender side of the taillight is snapped on. With a little hand force (don't use a screwdriver, it may crack the light or scratch the paint) you should be able to pop the light assembly out.
The back of the assembly has sockets that hold the bulbs, in small print you should see the word "lock" and a direction arrow. Simply turn the socket in the opposite direction and the buld should pull out. When replacing it, make sure you don't hand the buld directly with your hands because oils from you fingers may shorten the life of the bulb.

How do you change a license plate light on a 2005 Ford Escape?

I just replaced one of the license plate lights on my '05. Gently push the housing toward the center of the car as you pry under the outside edge, and it will pop out. Remove the socket from the housing by twisting it 1/4 turn. The bulb is the push-in type commonly used for marker and dash lights. I always spray some Radio Shack electrical contact cleaner into the socket before inserting a new bulb - helps make a good contact and prevents corrosion. Hope this helps!

Check the wiring that goes to the reverse light you may have a broken or loose wire also check inside the bulb socket for corrosion that would also cause it no to work.
