TMC as in TRAFFIC MESSAGE CHANNEL (European vehicles) or TMC as in TCM-Transmission control module.
If its the 1st, your antenna is probably resisted.
If its the 2nd, need FAR FAR more info and this is definitely a job for professionals. If its in limp mode, a warning lamp is also on or will be. That means fault code(s) set and there will be freeze frame, failure record, and code ID info a tech must have to proceed. If you replaced the Trans Control module...it must be programmed correctly for the vehicle...and more importantly, who said to and why did you? If someone diagnosed it, thats fine, they should warranty it. But it really will require significant tooliing (Above average enhanced scantool and a meter or scope, possibly some pressure measurement equipment) that you just dont have and cant buy at the local hardware store or parts house..
You will need to remove the rubber accordion dust boot from the end of the rack of the rack&pinion. With the outer tie rod unhooked and removed and the rubber boot out of the way you should be looking at a nut that has a think flat washer bent up around the edges. You will need to get a small chisel and bend the washer back as flat as possible, this will allow you to get on the nut and remove the inner tie rod. Install the new one and make sure you bend up the washer around the new nut, this ensures it will not back out. install new boot and re-install outer tie rod and then it sill need to go to the alignment shop to have the toe set.
Front tires tend to wear faster than old ones. It is usually best to put the new tires on the front drive wheels (traction, steering, braking). Then put the older tires on the back.
I never thought about this before, it may be normal on some vehicles. I have been able to lock/unlock my 2003 without the key in ignition since it was new.
When was the last transmission tune? If you just had one and it wasn't at the dealer all the internal computer values will be off. The same happens as fluid wears also. If you haven't, get the fluid and filter changed, make sure the dealer performs a "quicklearn" on the transmission, this will relearn all the fluid volume vlues and shift points. This is a process which any dealer should perform when they do a trans tune. Hope this helps, if the problem persists, you may have internal damage, but what you are describing sounds pretty simple if looked after right away.
Cheers
