It should be at the end of the radiator hose coming from the top of the radiator back to the engine, look for where the hose meets the engine. That thing that the hose is attached to, unbolt it. The thermostat is under it. Make sure that you clean all the old gasket off both the gooseneck and engine. Use sealant to seal the gasket, follow the directions. Make sure the spring side of the new thermostat faces into the engine, and make really sure that you prefill the engine with fluid BEFORE you put the thermostat on.

On the 3 liter engine, the thermostat is at the end of the upper radiator hose.
On the DOHC engines, it is at the end of the lower radiator hose.
If you have the 3.4 liter DOCH engine, you have to take the battery, power box, and battery tray out to get at it.
