SOURCE: wife is stuck with sister,

I am not a Ford expert but has she tried unlocking the car with the outside driver's door key cylinder? This works on most makes and models to disarm the alarm.

SOURCE: problem with ford explorer alarm imobiliser

You should have a switch under the dash and then just turn it to the off position. If you don't or it doesn't work (like mine) then, there is 2 fuses under the dash, put the key in the ignition and turn it forward, pull one of the fuses out and then start the car that should reset it. Then you should be able to put the fuse back. Sometimes if you put the fuse back before starting it the alarm will just continue to try and reset itself, but not start the car. If that doesn't work I have a mechanic who can pull the whole alarm out and when hes done it would look like nothing has ever been installed. Hes very good. I ended having him take my alarm out when I had the same incident happen after the 2nd time.

SOURCE: I have a 1996 ford Explorer with single button on

if its a factory alarm you can not bypass it, it goes through the computer however a one botton alarm is usually an aftermarket starter diable try finding the starter relay if it looks different replace it with a regular relay if its not just a relay you might want to look under the dash for a smaller size box and find the name of the alarm company and look on there website on how to disable it

SOURCE: ford focus rs alarm trouble

if its a factory alarm you put the key in and quickly turn the key on and of i cant remember if its 8 or 9 times but the horn will chirp then you push the lock and unlock on the fob the locks should respond then turn key off and your done. note that if you have more than one fob you have to press lock and unlock on all of them before you turn the key off and i believe you only have about fifteen seconds to do so if not let me know i will look it up at work

How do you reset the anti-lock system in a 2015 ford explorer

Press the unlock button on your vehicle's key fob to deactivate the alarm.

If you've misplaced your remote for the car, use the PATS programmed key to unlock the driver's side door.

Then, put the key in the ignition and turn the key to the "on" position. The vehicle's battery should be on, but the engine shouldn't be running.

Locate the override button on the alarm box, beneath the driver's side of the dashboard.

Press the button and hold it in until the alarm beeps one time. The LED light for the alarm should stop blinking, indicating the anti-theft system is disabled.

To reset the vehicle's alarm, put the PATS programmed key in the ignition and turn the key to the "on" position. Press the override button.

When the alarm resets, it chirps two times and the LED light begins blinking.

Got a 98 ford laser, alarm wont turn off. replaced fob batteries in 2 sets and have tried opening with the key which also doesn't work. Car wont start with alarm sounding. Any ideas? Thanks

With the key in the ignition. Disconnect the negative battery cable, wait 15 or more seconds and reconnect the battery cable. That should reset the alarm.

2001 FORD TAURUS WONT START AND THEFT LIGHT IS BLINKING AND MAKING A CLICKING NOISE

If you have a alarm fob, press the door open button. If the fob isn't working, change the battery in it. If you don't have a fob...well...your troubles start there...need to have dealer reprogram a new fob and use it.

Mustang alarm

Ford sold a Ford branded alarm through the parts department. These sometimes were a dealer installed option on new cars. Mine would randomly stop responding to the remote and I would have the same symptoms as you describe. I had it removed and the original equipment factory system still worked. Be warned, if you have the Ford "accessory" alarm, your key fobs (remotes) are different and the method to program them is different from what you will read online. You can tell if you have the system by looking at your key fob. The standard Mustang key fob is a 4 button (lock, unlock, panic, and trunk). The accessory alarm uses a 3 button remote and clicking unlock twice would pop the trunk. I really wish I had a picture of the remote because there are 3 button Ford key fobs for cars without a trunk release although I don't think you should have one on a Mustang. Long story short, if you have the accessory alarm, you can solve your problem by having it removed but you will need new 4 button key fobs to remotely lock/unlock your doors

Check the mirror for alarm/immobilize indicator.

If you using a dead key fob then alarm system will immobilize the ignition system.

    Need new keychain alarm button

Is this a factory installed alarm system? If so, unlocking the driver door with the key will allow the car to start. If not then you will have to remove the aftermarket alarm system to start the car.
If you have a factory alarm system you can get a new FOB (key chain alarm button) from a ford dealer, but it must be programmed using a scanner , before it will work in your vehicle.
