My guess is your water pump is not working properly and the loud chirping sound is from the serpentine belt which also runs the water pump, alternator, ac and steering pump. first thing to check is coolant the cooling fan , thermostat , water pump in this order. chirping sound definitely come from the belt but the cause could come from any of the driven part but im zeroing in on the water pump because the car is running hot. old belt could also cause the chirping.

SOURCE: what fuse controls front wipers 2008 pt criuser

It should say wipers on the diagram of the fuse box cover either on the outside of cover or underneath it. If you lost the cover then you will need to check every fuse or if it does not say wipers it could run off another feature fuse as well like the lighter or radipo. Is anything else not working like what I mentioned? But if you pull the fuses one at a time with the fuse pulling tool they usually have on the box or a pair of needle nose pliars, and look at the fuse to make sure the wire inside is not melted in two. If it is replace it with the same amp fuse as came out of it. There should be some extra fuses on the fuse box if they have not been used up. Once you have found the bad fuse and replaced it then put the cover back on the fuse box and turn the key to the on position and give them a try, If they work yippy Skippy. If not then back to the fuse box where you left off. Keep checking what fuses you have not checked and look for another bad one. Let me know if this did the trick, Raz

I have a 2007 Suzuki Vitara. When I turn the key to the on and off position it has 4 loud chirps from under the dash in the passenger compartment. Can anyone help?

tell what works and not, in total, not just what is odd.
car runs drives perfect?
no warning lights dead.
engine, not crank or run.
or just a chirp.

passenger compartment is huge.
where exactly use a rubber hose to ear under dash to find
who (what) is chirping, may be its mouse hiding there from the cold.
not looking , means, endless speculations here.
get the car serviced? as them , with live help and rubber hose to the ready?

Why is My 04 PT Criuser running hot and there is coolant in the radiator ?

check your cooling fans make sure they are working, to do this start your engine and turn on the ac the cooling fans should be running, if it does the next thing to check is the temp sensors, to do this turn off the ac, while the engine is running keep an eye on your temp gauge if the dial is going up above normal or at the point where you say the engine is running hot check if the cooling fans are running,
1) if not running, cooling fan sensor is not working, replace
2)if running, thermostat is shut, the thermostat regulates the flow of coolant in the engine it is fully open at normal operating temp and close if coolant is cold, replace
how to replace thermostat go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dG5MhY8Bieo

Cutlass v8 305 is been having a chirp noise I made it worst I burn rubber on a turn the noise got worse and sounds like the engine would be running 65 miles per hour..before engine was running nice and...

The small block Chevy engines commonly wear down and break rocker arms. The chirping is caused by a lack of oil between the rocker arm and ball.

My expedition is making a loud chirping sound randomly

This can be caused by a bad belt, it may be dry or cracked, try having the belt replaced ,before replacing the belt have the belt removed and all the pulleys checked, a worn pulley will also cause a chripping sound, hope this is helpful.

What would cause a P.T Cruiser to lose mph and not go anywhere

Sounds like transmission problems to me. Check your transmission fluid. If it is very low, you need to find out why. Probably a broken cooler line, (going from the transmission to the radiator) bad transmission output seal,(where the axles come out of the transmission) or front pump seal. (leaking between the engine block and the transmission housing) If it smells bad (like burned oil) and is dark brown, your transmission is burned up.

99 Chevy Malibu belt chirping noise problem.

one or more of the pulley's is defective, most likely the tensioner pulley, but check them all for wear and side to side movement which indicates a worn bearing, this causes the belt to not run true and chirp.
