93 honda civic runs fine untill it get warm then it will jolt and loss power

have the cooling system pressure tested to 20 psi remove the spark plugs & see if any water/coolant comes out of the spark plug holes. You may have a cracked cylinder head or partially blown head gasket.

Car overheats got a theromstat how to replace it ita a 93 accord lx

the thermostat should be on the engine under a housing that connects the upper radiator hose to the motor. On most vehicles, you will need to take off the upper hose, have a small bucket to catch the radiator fluid, remove the two cover bolts, remove and take out your thermostat. make sure you use a new rubber seal on your new thermostat. also make sure the the spring end points toward the engine, re-assemble as you have taken apart. Good Luck!

93 Honda Accord Black Smoke When Accelerating

You have gone past the operating parameters of the computer sensors that measure air flow and manifold pressures There are many websites that deal with honda mods like yours, and likely you will find a cure there. I know there is a map sensor modification that can be made on Jeeps with the same items you have added, likely yours can be done as well. Try google and just type in honda forums and see what comes up.

Why does my 93 honda accord struggle to run with the air conditioning on?

The answer is time consuming and very pricey. A bad compressor can cause loss of engine power. As the belts drive the compressor, it requires quite a bit of force to compress the refrigerant to cool the car, which is why fuel economy drops when the A/C system is on. If the compressor is beginning to seize, it requires more power, and with a 18 year old 4cyl engine, there isn't a lot of power left to go around.
