Ford focus engine problems

code p 2263 refers to turbocharger (TC) boost pressure/supercharger (SC) boost pressure ---performance problems ===cause--- mechanical fault check for leaking interchange hoses , interchanger split or turbo failure

It can be issue with IAC( idle air control valve) causing the problem.

There are many other possibilities causing these idle issues. Engine idles rough.

Faulty fuel pump.Check your fuel pressure it should be 9-13 psi with engine running.

You have a check light on !!

You should be checking for obd codes,
to direct you somewhere

If you have an rpm flair while your driving,
you have a trans issue & most likely are done,
as far as fixing that without a complete trans rebuild

no the surge that high is not normal a normal cold start should go to around 1500 then settle slowly to 750 or so but this all depends on engine temp and ambient air temperature

check your idle control valve and sensor may need replacement

it sounds like you have a stuck IAC, Idle Air Control Valve. It meters air in when the throttle plate is colosed (foot off gas).

Autozone can scan for fault codes for free.

May just need cleaning. Try that first.

Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve —2.0L SPI Removal

1. Disconnect the idle air control (IAC) valve electrical connector (air cleaner outlet tube removed for clarity).

Your vehicle's computer system has self-testing capability. When the computer senses that there is a problem with some of the components it stores the correspondent trouble code(s) in its memory and lights up the "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" light to tell you that there is a problem. There are test that will need to be done depending on what codes are present to determine the proper repair.
