SOURCE: My daughter's 2007 Volkswagen EOS service manual
I'm not sure why they recommend every 2 years, I strongly recommend replacement at every brake job though, which may end up being every 2 years. It's one of those neglected things that most people don't think about. Years ago I had problems w/ front calipers failing, and it turned out it was due to contaminated brake fluid (it was never changed, and the car was @ around 100k miles. So, yes , have it replaced, but only when your daughter needs new brakes.
SOURCE: I have a VW passat
Hello There
It's the water pump. One of the most common problems with the VW/Audi's. It was never the head.
Hope this helps. Please don't forget to rate me.
Thanks
SOURCE: i have changed the oil pump and put new timming
The timing chain? You mean the one inside the head that drives the intake cam from the exhaust cam? Or do you mean the timing BELT and tensioner, that time the cams relative to the crank?
P0011 means the timing is over-advanced (if you were doing timing belt/chain work, it's probably not on correctly and one of the cams is advanced relative to the other one, or the cams are advanced relative to the crank). If that's the case, the solution means tearing it back apart and timing it again.
SOURCE: Where is the oil filter and drain plug to change
I hope that by now you've already solved this, but the folks at Jiffy Lube tell me that the reason they have to charge me extra to do an oil change on an Eos is that there's a metal plate on the bottom of the car with a whole bunch of bolts they have to take off in order to access the drain plug.
SOURCE: What is the oil change interval for 2007
Use synthetic quality engine oil and factory filter and change oil every 12.000 miles.
A 5W30 will work well.
