Why would my car loose power and die no power to coil, bump it with another car, power to coil is restored ?

I have replaced the ECM,fuel pump relay, checked all the other relays, checked for shorts, blown fusses ect.as long as the coil has power every thing checks out ok.when the coil looses power I still can not find any thing wrong,if I tow it or bump it to push it,power is restored to the coil ????

SOURCE: Losing power to the fuel pump

well that sounds like a relay. if your car is an automatic, double check than you replaced the ASD and fuel pump relays and not the trans control relay.
if its not the relay, its probably the ECU(PCM).

SOURCE: My car died on the way home and won't start. I

The fuel pump relay is under the hood close to the battery (having to be generic here because depending on the engine size battery could be on left or right) in a black box with printed nomeclature about what is inside.(fuses, relays, etc.)

If it stopped very suddenly, might well be relay.. I fit fizzeled to a stop, the fuel pump may have failed..

Why does my ECM-I fuse keeps blowing?

Did you check the crank sensor wire, it may be hitting the hot exhaust. does the wire going to fuel pump have a problem and is shorting out. ECM 1 ..... then there are 5 components that this fuse feeds
1-crank sensor
2- all injectors
3- ECM
4- electronic ignition control module
5- ignition coil - check for a bad wire in these areas. Hope this helps.

Ecm control switch

No switch just EFI relay to supply power to ECM. If your ECM seems like it's not activating other system like fuel pump relay, ignition coil,etc.etc. check that your immobilizer has been disabled. Some immobilizers will disable the ECU totally. Newer models have RFID type keys that needs programming if damaged. Best to scan your car and get the error codes before replacing anything.

89 chevy 3/4 ton. 2wd. 454. AT. truck runs good

check your timing, check that your ignition pick up coil is good. also check your fuel pressure. and check for any vacuum leaks. double check your coolant temp sensor to the ecm it tells the ecm what temp it is and the ecm adjusts the fuel amount accordingly.

I have a 1998 Jeep cherokee sport. Was driving today and it died. Now there is no spark and no power to fuel pump. Changed fuel pump today and it won't run. Recently replaced oxygen sensors too

U need to check the crankshaft position sensor. The fuel pump will only have power for 2 seconds I till it sees a crank signal. It' controls the asd relay which turns on your spark and fuel

Lost power to fuel pump

the oil pressure sensor has a 3rd wire which feeds to the fuel pump .. If you turn the ignition key on and do not hear the fuel pump running for 5 seconds, replace that oil pressure sensor. That sensor does turn the fuel pump circuit off once oil pressure is acheive and the the computer switches the fuel pum relay on to take over running the fuel pump

My car acts like it has a part time fuel pump. Or issue with fuel. It looses power when driving and surges and sometimes dies at a stop light. I starts back up with little problem so far. When you slow...

I WOULD SAY FUEL PUMP REPLACE FUEL FILTER FIRST SEE IF IT HELP PROBLEM.I WOULD CHECK FUEL PRESSURE WHICH SHOULD BE 41 - 47 PSI. CHECK FUEL PRESSURE FIRST BEFORE BUYING NEW FUEL PUMP.
