Mercedes have a bad rep for low amp alternators. 70 amps in my 87 300e, not enough to run headlight, windshield wipers, AC, and high amp stereo at the same time on short trips. Really, worse than that. What I read was that many have switched to much higher amps in alternators, mostly from GM cars, up to 200 amps.

SOURCE: it feels like gas isn't

Have the fuel pressure checked- this would determine if your fuel pump is working properly. Its really easy if you have a gauge. you might be able to rent one at a part store. or it could need a new fuel filter

SOURCE: 2003 Mazda Mpv jerks when idling abd breaking

Check to see if you have a MPV that has been included in the recall for the PCV line. Yes it is difficault to get to on your own, however they have special tools to reach behind the manifold to remove the line and install a new one. If you do it on your own it is very difficaul and will take a few hours as a I did before I found out about the recall. The service dept. should have asked you about the recall when you went to get the part from them. Where I got pissed was when they did replace the hose the faulty line had fouled the pcv valve and they did not bother to replace it and that is tucked under the intake manifold and under the fuel rails.

SOURCE: Check engine light intermittently flashing, car jerking.

Could be fuel or electrical related. Since you may not know the history, this may take a while.
Any amount of smoke from exhaust? White, Blue, Black?
Start with most obvious and inexpensive:
1. Fuel filer clogged (replace fuel filter).
2. Could be the ECM (Electronic Control Module). It controls the ignition spark timing.
A few other things... consider other expert solutions...

ABS blink one time when i was driving my car, but its running perfectly i can feel on th pedal..i wonder what is the problem..is it sensor?or what?

All the warning signals and sensors are processed via SAM units in the car. Sometimes, they will throw up strange waning signs that may never be seen again! If it becomes more frequent, along with other silly codes, then start to worry. SAMs are not cheap, but sometimes it is simply the moisture after a few years that corrode the pins. the signals are very low voltage and slight corrosion will affect it. Another common sign of this is battery/alternator malfunction, or Low oil Engine stop type faults.
With faults like these, its better to go see a Mercedes independent, with a proper STAR machine, no other diagnostic machine will read all the right codes!!
Why not try logging on the Mercedesclub. org. uk site, its free to register and there are people with far more Mercedes knowledge then you will find here
Good luck.

Sounds like the EGR valve is bad and is stuck in the open position.Just replace that and you should also check the catalytic converter.
