If you look under the dash, you'll see the part hanging off the wiring harness or it may be plugged in at or near the fuse block. You'll be looking under the driver side of the dash.

If not in fuse panel, take ash tray out, unscrew ash tray assembly and pull out. The flasher is on the right side of the ash tray right up front.

SOURCE: LOCATION OF TURN SIGNAL FLASHER ON A 1998 LINCOLN

It is located in the fuse panel under the dashboard on the drivers side. It will look to be about the diameter of a quarter and have 3 prongs when you pull it out. It will also be marked where it is located exactly on the underside of your fuse panel cover.

The turn signal flasher and the emergency flasher on most cars are located in the same area. Turn on the emergency flasher and find the sound......the turn signal flasher should be in the same area.

Flasher location relay

On a 1993 olds ciera, the flasher unit for the T/S is clipped to the ashtray mount bracket. Remove the ashtray and the flasher will be on the passenger side of the bracket. The emergency flasher unit is located to the right of the glove box when facing the box. It is hidden behind the Multi -fuction alarm module.

If you remove the ashtray you will find the turn signal flasher behind it, a bit to the right (close to the fuse box).

Turning signals not working

If you have checked the fuse and it is okay the you prob have a bad flasher switch. On the Olds the flasher switch and the turn signals use the same switch. There were recalls about the switch being bad a few years ago and they replaced them. If you hit the flasher switch and it doesn't work either then next step would be replace it.

Your Olds has 2 flasher relays. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights.
The turn signal flasher relay is located on the driver's side, under the dash, mounted on the steering column.
The hazard flasher relay is located driver's side, under dash, driver's side of steering column, mounted on fuse panel.

possibly one side of your signal flasher is out turn on emergency flashers to locate one flasher then you can locate the other
