Code p0886 refers to transmission control module(TCM) power relay--control circuit low===causes wiring short to ground--TCM power relay--TCM
Check for water in the wires and connections--- check the power relay or replace .
As the TCM controls the gear selection and you have made no mention of gear problems , I would be looking at the relay
