Torque setting for wheel nuts on Renault Alloy wheels

What is the torque setting for the wheel nuts on my alloy wheels. I drive a Renault Scenic 08 (registered in last half of 2008-i.e. 58) As advised in the Caravan Club magazine I check the torque setting on the wheel nuts of my caravan alloy wheels now-and-again. I want to use this good practice on the wheel nuts of my car alloys, particularly as I intend to buy new tyres. The local Renault garage would not give me the torque setting due to the risk of 'come-back'. I have recently bought a torque wrench which includes a Certificate of Calibration. Unfortunately the car manual does not give the torque setting for the Alloy wheels, it only gives the torque setting for the steel spare wheel. My tyres are Michelin energy size 205/55 R16 91H. I look forward to hearing from you. David Simpson.

What is the torque setting for my alloy wheels?

Your torque spec is usually based off of lug diameter, if you have 19mm lug nuts then 75#ft should be sufficient.

.want to know how to stop my rear wheel lug nuts

I would use a torque wrench to torque down the lugnuts to manufacturer's specifications. Make sure the right wheels are on it.

I would use the standard lugnuts originally found on the vehicle. I assume the wheels are steel and not aluminum alloy?
