SOURCE: Changing spark plugs on 2007 Hyundai Sonata 4 cylinder

You are correct. The plugs are accessed below these coils. Disconnect the coil connectors and remove the 4 10mm bolts which hold the coils in place -- then you'll have access to the plugs. Here's a pic

4ff53b2.jpg By the way, how many miles on this 2007 Sonata? You know the powertrain is under warranty (1st owner 100,000 miles). If you're having problems, have Hyundai dealership diagnose it and fix it under warranty.

SOURCE: changing out spark plugs on a 1994 vw jetta. i can

You have to remove the upper intake manifold. You'll need to unbolt it and disconnect the hoses and connectors and move it enough out of your way. It would also be suggestable to get a new gasket for the upper intake manifold, increase the old on breaks or comes a part, during removal.

How to change the spark plugs in a mazda 2 2012

Sorry, Mazda has not released specific information about the 2012 models to the aftermarket yet. The nearest I could come up with is for a 2010 Mazda 3i (I am sure it is probably similar).

> Remove the plug hole plate from the top of the valve cover assembly
> Remove ignition coil assemblies
> Remove spark plugs
> Installation is reverse procedure

With all that said, it is not necessary to replace spark plugs in your vehicle for 100,000 miles. I find it hard to believe that your 2012 car could possibly need spark plug replacements at this early age.

Oil in the sparkplug hole

O-ring seal for spark plug are leaking. Located under valve cover.
To replace them,
1.unplug spark plug wire from spark plug.
2.remove valve on top of engine, by loosing the 5(10mm) bolts and disconnecting air hose.
you might have to use a pry bar to pry valve cover off.
3. flip cover upside down and you'll see that there's one o-ring per spark plug hole. remove them and install new one. You might want to replace valve cover gasket too.

How to replace spark plugs on the Peugeot 206

The step by step instructions to replace spark plugs on the Peugeot 206 are as follows:-
1) Disconnect the battery by removing the positive connector.

2) Using a 10mm spanner or long socket remove the two studs with nuts attached on the coil pack which is located at the top back of the engine. Un-clip the hose that connects to the rocker case cover and air intake hose and move it aside.
3) Pull the coil pack out and move to aside the right. You may have to disconnect the plug adaptor, but you should be able to get away with leaving it to the right.
4) Using a suitable size spark plug socket and a flexi extension bar and rachet or tommy bar undo each socket and replace with an appropriate new spark plugs.
5) Reassemble exactly in reverse order of the above.
Thanks. you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

Where are the spark plugs located? and how do I get to them?

There are no spark plug wires on the 2000-up Northstar engines. They use coil on plug design. First remove the engine service cover.(The Pretty plastic peice that has the Cadillac symbol on it) Then disconnect the coil connector which sits to the right of the coil and should just snap off by hand. Next If you remove the screws that holds the coil pack (8 screws) to the top of the cam covers, you will see 4 black round rubber boots that sit on top of the plugs. Pull the boots free to expose the plugs. The tops of the spark plugs sit directly underneath

I can't find the spark plugs in my 2005 sonata

To locate and change the (4) spark plugs on a 2004 Hyundai 2.4L 4 cylinder engine:
Remove the (4) 12mm bolts from the decorative plastic engine cover. Remove plastic cover from engine and place it off to the side out of your way.
Standing in front of the car, the (4) spark plugs are located laterally (left to right) in the recessed area underneath where the plastic engine cover was removed.
Note: This engine has (2) coils....They are located above spark plugs number (2) and (3) from left to right.
Starting with the fist spark plug on the left: Remove the spark plug cable by pulling straight up on the insulated connector. Using a spark plug socket, remove the old spark plug and install a new one in it's place.
To access the second spark plug from the left, remove the electrical connector and the spark plug cable wire from coil number (1) and then remove the (2) 12mm bolts that secure the coil to the engine. Spark plug number (2) is located directly under the coil. Lift the coil straight up removing the insulated connector from spark plug number (2). Using a spark plug socket, remove old spark and install a new one in it's place.
Repeat same procedures for spark plugs number (3) and (4).
Note: If you have the (6) cylinder engine, the front (3) sparks pluge are readilly accessible but in order to access the (3) rear spark plugs, you will have to remove the intake manifold.

Is it difficult to replace spark plugs in a Jaguar XJ8

Your car does not have plug leads so that will save you a job,the spark plugs are fairly easy to do tho.
Open the bonnet, either side of the engine at the top there are 2 black covers bolted to the top of your engine, bolted to those are 2 smaller covers, remove the 2 smaller covers which will reveal your ignition coils, remove the ciols and your spark plugs are there.
You will have to remove the air filter assembly tho on the right hand side which is easy enough, remove the bolts from pipe at the rear middle of engine, undo the clips which houses the filter and disconnect the engine breather pipe.Re assemble in reverse order,
N.B the spark plugs dont want tightening too tight..or too loose, when the plug nips up just give it a little nip again..GOOD LUCK
