What is no help ?

Surely you know what a fuse is for !

Replacing a blown fuse won't fix a thing

Have to diagnose the fuel system electrical,
to find a problem

Replaced the fuel pump why?
Was it tested & failed ?
No Fuel Pressure?

SOURCE: starter fuse keeps blowing

Sounds like a short in the system. you will need to inspect the wiring and posably, bench test the starter. Check the cables to the battery. Make sure the wires and the battery are in good shape.

SOURCE: Dodge Neon cooling fan fuse keeps blowing,

If there are no other components on the circuit, then most likely cause is the wire is shorting out someplace. The wire insulation may be damaged at somepoint, and it is touching a grounded point in the circuit.

Keeps blowing fuel pump fuse. Why?

This normally happens due to short in the wirings.Or if someone has connected a stereo or some other electrical contrivance to the wiring harness (bundle), either under the dash or under the hood.To confirm this unplug the fuel pump wiring connections and insert new fuse. Then start the car and see,if still the fuse blows then its a short in wiring. But if the fuse does not blows then its faulty fuel pump relay or faulty fuel pump itself. So first replace the fuel pump relay and see,if the fuel still blows then its faulty fuel pump. But if the fuse not blowing then relay was the faulty part. The fuel pump relay located on the fuse box under the hood.---------This troubleshooting tips will help you locate the fault and solve it.-------Thanks.Helpmech.

My 2004 dodge neon keeps blown the fuel pump fuse. Can some one help

It's either the fuel pump having the problem or you have short in the electrical wiring going back to the pump. Make sure the fuse is the proper size for the fuel system. Hope this will help you.

My 2004 dodge neon keeps blown the fuel pump fuse. can some one help

If it is working for a time and just blowing once in a while you probably need to replace the fuel pump. If it blows as soon as you put it in, then look for a short circuit in the fuel pump wiring.

Fuel pump fuse keeps blowing on 99 dodge neon. Changed relay, but didn't help. Fuel pump or something else? It mainly does it when you hit the brakes.

Usually if a fuse blows when applying something else( brakes) indicates they are on the same circuit. Verify the brake lights don't work when the fuse is out or blown. If lights still are working then it's probably not related. If on same circuit then the extra load of the brakes is enough to blow the fuse. Insure you are putting in the correct fuse. Also, this indicates you fuel pump is in a strain either due to restricted fuel filter or worn pump. Replaceing the fuel filter now will only buy you a little time before the pump goes on out. It's blowing fuses because it's drawing more amps in order to run, but always replace filter when replacing pump.

1997 neon, fuel pump fuse keeps blowing

I had a neon that did this in my shop. I found one of the wires to the Oxygen sensors was melted near the exhaust and when you would give it gas the exhaust would flex and short out the o2 sensor.

TURNS OVER

TRY TO BANG ON THE BOTTOM OF THE GAS TANK WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY TURNING THE KEY SWITCH TO THE ON POSITION, WITH A GOOD FUSE IN THE FUSE PANEL, THIS SHOULD JAR THE PUMP ENOUGH TO HELP IT SPIN. IF THIS DOESN'T WORK AFTER THREE TRIES, THEN REPLACE THE FUEL PUMP AS IT HAS LOCKED UP. HOPE THIS WORKS FOR YOU. KEEP ME POSTED PLEASE. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU.

2002 Dodge Neon 20 amp FP/ASD fuse #21 keeps blowing

It appears that it is part of the fuel pump circuit, so I would concentrate on wiring harness & connector at fuel pump, clean it real good, and apply dielectric grease to the connection, as well as the fuel pump relay, connector & harness.
