Look in the area around the vacuum pump, there is also a vacuum brake booster check valve, check to make sure the lines are plugged into it, Hope this helps.

the electronic power control module malfunction lamp. generally the problem is the brake light switch which is under warranty b/c of recall. check with your local dealer.

It sounds like your alternator is not charging. You may want to have it tested and replace/rebuild it if necessary. Many times the problem is that the brushes are worn in the alternator and it stops charging correctly. The brushes are usually attached to the voltage regulator and are replaceable if you have the parts and skill. You can also replace the voltage regulator/brush assembly as a unit.
Many parts stores will test your alternator for free.
