Dash Lightswitch panel removal

You don't remove the panel. Take negative battery off. Pull the light switch knob out. Reach behind the dash-on the light switch is a little button. When you press it, you can pull the knob and rod out of the switch. Then you take off the threaded washer holding switch to the panel. The switch should come out of the panel and hang down. Then you can unplug the electrical connector.

Hello kelly fox: my name is Roger and I will help you. There are only a couple of things most likely to be the problem. I would look at the head lamp bulbs first. I have had the same problem of both lamps suddenly burn out on my dodge ram. The only other component is the multi function switch could have a problem. This could happen but most likely the bulbs are the issue. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger
