Is it blowing any air at all? If not then its the blower fan or a relay. If it's blowing hot the hvac temperature control could not be functioning.

Air conditioning compressor on my 98 Chevy blazer won't engage. The AC is fully charged. The compressor

the compressor isn't getting the pressure for the clutc to maintain after disengaging the short by removing paperclip. check fuse, relay, and the low/ high pressure lines. if the compreeor doesn't since the correct amount of gas charge and/ or receives it the clutch wont engage not sure about a weak compressor if it may be a contributor. will check back later short on time. I just had mine fixed 2001 chevy 4wd. it was the relay and charge.

1995 chevy silverado c1500 air conditioning unit blowing hot air - what to do

There are 2 pressure switches on the refrigerant lines. Pull off a connector and short the wires on the connector. If the clutch engages then the pressure switch is bad.

Air conditioner blows hot air fully charged with

compressor or receiver/dryer or condensor may need to be replaced. Further testing will have to be done. Look into your sight glass and see if there is any bubbles in the glass, or if glass is extremely foggy. If so, you may have air in the system. Check to make sure you are getting power to the compressor.

1995 Jeep Cherokee Air Conditioner

Is the compressor engaging? If not he needs to find if a sensor issue if its fully charged or a low pressure or refrigerant condition. You can have pressure without refrigerant.

Sounds like you may need a compressor ? Start the vehicle and verify the compressor is not engaged , if it is not take a small hammer and lightly tap on front of the compressor ,it should engage.

Air Conditioner works intermittently

It could be your low pressure cycle switch is going bad. Check the connection to the switch and it's is located on the A/C Accumulator. The other thing to check is the A/C relay and that is located in the glove box. There is a panel in the glove box that say's relay, there is three relays in there and one of the out side relay's out of the three is the A/C. can not remember which one it is. The middle relay is the fuel pump and the other one is the third break light. Switch the two out side relays and see if your A/C get's better. the other thing too is if the R134a is just a little low, and needs to be topped off. Good luck and hope this helps. if your going to try to recharge the A/C system your self, keep in mind not to over charge.

Air not cold

There must be a gas leak somewhere. Have it checked.

1995 buick skylark air condition problem

If the system is not fully charged the compressor will not run. Check to see it the system uses 134a refrigerant for the cooling system. You can buy them in Walmart or other parts stores and try to charge it yourself. It will tell you under the hood by the systems tag how much refrigerant it takes.
