Why not say what is wrong or what NSS means.
ok google says, its
neutral safety switch (NSS)
aka, as PRNDL for slush pump tranny (this name make it clear what it fits ,no?)
aka, the clutch switch for sticks.
on my 08 the clutch switchs is on top of the clutch pedal, in plain view.
on a A/T slush pump its on the side of the tranny.
when you move the A/t gear selector the cable
then moves the tranny shift arm.
on said arm on all a/T is the PRNDL.
the PCM/TCM watches this switch at all times.
and sets codes if fails.
the REV part, runs the reverse lights too.

Try switching them off and taking the transfercase out of four wheel drive. Try driving slowly, and reverse a few times and they should release. The electrical part can shut off, but the mechanical part needs to have the tension relieved from it to release.
