SOURCE: ac will not blow thru ac vents, only thru defrost vents.
if vent doors are operated by vacuum check for loose or broken vacuum hoses in the engine compartment , or check the fuse box for any ac/heat fuses if it is a electricaly controoled system

There's a large black ball or bullet shaped black plastic cylinder called a vacuum collector under the hood. Check to make sure this is leak proof. to do so just run the motor/engine for a few minutes and pull one of the vacuum lines off from it. yuo should get a long hissing sound. If not relace the two vacuum lines. If you do hear the sound then....it gets a little tricky. BEHIND the climate control unit is a vacuum harness with several different colored lines all held together at the connection end. If you can get at this, pull radio, pull ashtray assy, you may find that it has slipped off the control unit. Check these steps in the order that I've given, it will save you alot of headaches. It might boil down to needing a new/ used climate con trol center. Thanks and good luck, Dana

SOURCE: ac only blows through the defrost vents
the blend air door is stuck look down the heat vents to see if something fell in there
SOURCE: How to replace a Blend
Blend door mixes hot and cold, not a distribution control. Look for loose or dislodged vac lines... Heater designed to fail in defrost mode.
