2002 Honda CRV factory radio - CD Plays but will not eject

There is a CD in th CD player of the factory radio/CD player of my 2002 Honda CRV. I can play the CD, but when I push the eject button, it won't eject. It does make sounds like it is trying to eject it, but no result.

Is there any way to
a) get the CD that's in it out?
b) fix it?

Thanks in advance.

I have a problem with the radio code and I want a solution if Please. Car brand: Honda CRV 2002.

Fixya can't supply the security code, we have no access to the Honda data base at the factory server. If you go to the pay site below they can supply the code.

Need radio code for 02 honda crv, serial #13028929

The reset code for the factory installed radio is on a sticker in the glove box. The sticker has 2 set of numbers. The number set with 5 digits is the reset code for your factory installed radio.

I have a honda crv and the radio no play cd say error all time

Is it a at home burned CD if so the CD player does not have the program capability for that format. If it is a CD you purchased and it still says error your CD player may need work of replaced. Could try a laser cleaner from any audio store.

The player will not eject the cd but it will not play it either.

I know it sound crazy, but turn the system on, press eject while using a PLASTIC knife to lift the CD in the player. If the system is stock also try disconnecting the radio fuse for about 10 minutes or so with the car off. Reconnect it to see if the radio resets. You'll know the power completely went out because you'll have to reset your stations. By Resetting, hopefully the issue will solve itself. In a few of the system issues I've seen, when the motor won't open the faceplate, or the CD player won't give the CD back. I usually remove the faceplate or disconnect the negative side of the battery for about ten minutes. Try this if the fuse removal doesn't work. Good look. Let me know how it goes. there are other things to try.

6 disk cd player error

This is a part failure in the mechanism that loads and ejects the disk, there are no repair manuals avail to either the tech or the consumer, the only place that the factory gives this info and parts to are factory authorized repair stations, bottom line you must pull the deck and contact a Ford dealer in your area for location of the nearest factory repair station. I was dealer tech for 20 years and that is how it is done.

Cd player not working

If it were locked it would ask for a code on the radio display, more likely the radio's CD changer is defective, they are very prone to failure.
