Question about 2014 Chrysler 200
THEY TELL ME IT IS NORMAL DUE TO THE OIL DRAINS FROM THE TOP OF ENGINE. DOES NOT SOUND RIGHT TO ME. ONLY OCCURS WHEN CAR SITS FOR A A FEW HRS.

If you fequnt any quick lube places they use air tools to remove the drain plug and it often strips the threads in the oil pan. So in answer to your question, yes the oil pan needs to be replaced or else the iol leaks out at a pretty fast rate. I would suggest gettting this and future oil changes done at your local Chrysler dealer.

When you got stuck in the snow did it impact hard (quick stop or small drop like a deeper ditch)? If this is the case it could be the sending unit might have been dammaged in some way. I would have the shop take a look at.
