My indicator fuse on a 2008 keeps blowing but only when very hot weather already been to a auto ele he cant find it at a loss, they dont blow when turning or hazards on no bulbs have been changed only had car for year and no problems before hand hope you can help going though fuses
When this started happening your first thing to do is to check ALL ground connections. You will find possibly 2 under the dash. A white wire connected to a wire end with an eye and a bolt holding it to the firewall. Should be one on each side. Always check the grounds FIRST above all else. Make sure they are clean and tight. New shop mechanics will not check this, they just keep charging more and more, checking EVERYTHING else BUT the ground connections. I'm old school and do things right, the first time. Everything else being good, the power is feeding back through the fuse and causing a spike and blowing the fuse. If all grounds are good after your done cleaning and tightening and tried it out for a while, you may have to go as far as pulling the signalstat unit from the columb and checking that connection last. Only happening in hot weather may just be a happenstance. That would make no difference. Unless of course when it happens, the AC is on and pulling power when you use the signals. Use the signals when AC on and if pops the fuse, it's the ground connection at the AC unit. Have fun under the dash.

I unplugged the wire, replaced the fuse and started the car. Then, I turned on the ac button and the fuse blew. Do I need to replace the whole compressor with ac clutch or just the ac clutch? Thanks so much.

there's a short somewhere causing that amperage to go up
SOURCE: horn fuse keeps blowing out
Check the wiring around the horn and make sure nothing is touching metal...look under the hood at the horn and make sure everything is pluged in and there is no water on any plugs or wiring...Make sure the fuse is the correct number (ex: 10, 20, 25) If it is still blowing out the fuse then you after you do some checking then it is a short in some wires

if its cold at 1 location all the time its probably got its gas maybe theres a vent not opening or a duct that has come adrift under dash,if its not cold in general you may need to get an AC guy to look at the fault but keep looking if you think something is simple to fix
SOURCE: am2 keeps blowing up
Its most likely the capacitor on the distributor. Remove the distributor cap and rotor. Under the coil on the right hand side is a cylindrical capacitor about 1/4 length of a AA battery. remove and replace. It's about a $5 part and an easy fix. If you go to NAPA AUTO PARTS, the part # is: RC102. The UPC # is 7-0739090352-1. The description is Distributor Capacitor and Terminal.
