Where is the neutral safety switch on a Proton Savvy please.

I thought to myself, "manual gear boxes don't have a neutral safety switch". The safety is that you have to use the clutch and the gear lever, whereas with an automatic, Park is your brake, if you are in Drive and the engine starts, the car will move forward due to the increased revs on start up. I have searched for 10 minutes using a few search queries and it bears out that one doesn't exist. No parts sold under 'proton savvy neutral safety solenoid' either.

2007 1,5 Proton Arena. Cold starting very rough (stalls). Once on temp all Ok. ps yellow engine light on whole time.

You need to have the diagnostic codes read. Anything else is pure guessing. Those codes can point you in the right direction and often will tell you exactly what is wrong.

PROTON gen 2 manual keeps stalling when slowing down EML, battery and oil lights come on but no diagnostic report what can i do

check for a vacuum leak to the brake booster as it appears that the fuel/air mixture is going too lean to keep the engine running.

Proton savvy 1.2 runs for a while then stalls

hi,
savvy engine is same with renault engine. there's a flywheel sensor/engine speed sensor between engine and gearbox. change the engine speed sensor.
The engine speed sensor is control the ignition timing, if the sensor can't read the 0' angle the engine won't fire up.

My car starts and runs at first but sometimes at a stop sigh it will keep sputtering and duing and wont stay running,

If you feel it starting to die - toss it into neutral before coming to a full stop.

If it then keeps running, your TCC solenoid is locking up (common problem on all TH125C trannies). As a quick fix, pop the hood and disconnect the square green 4 pin connector going into the tranny. No more lockup over 50km/h, but no more stalling.
