I have a 1987 honda accord

I need to change the fuel filter but i can't seem to find it under the hood aand i can't find a diafram online to help me with this can you help?

thanks but i have followed the line it goes into the firewall and the line is inside the car under the carpet beside the door but still no filter has been found

This car has two fuel filters,one located near the gas tank(driver side on chassis)the other is by the brake master cylinder.

It's under the hood on left side firewall when you are facing the car. there is a long canister which is your carbon filter and beside it is a small canister this is the fuel filter.

U are right it is in the right side but it has a cover and its by the brake master cylinder.

It is usually located right by the firewall area, by the driver side.

Thats strange, are you sure? Fuel lines are not suppose to go inside the car. Maybe thats a vacuum line or the aluminum line that goes to the AC evaporator. Look under the car, thats where the fuel line is suppose to be routed. Try following it from there.

very small hands it should be under hood on driver side firewall.no hard at all just tight space.some Honda fuel filters are under car right by the tank also easy to change make sure you look at filter and put flow toward engine (arrow)

Where is the diagnostic connector located for 1991 honda accord

Some cars have the fuel filter in the car, others are under the hood. If you can follow the fuel line from the gas tank, you should see where the filter is. You should relieve the pressure before trying to change the filter. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

well the best thing would be to go to autozone rent a fuel pressure test kit 150.00 bucks but you get it back when you return it make sure your pressures are correct also if your fuel filter is serviceable change your filter first a dirty fuel filter can cause low pressure.

if that not a route you want to go change igniton rotor and distributer aswell lmk what happens

Where is the fuel filter in an 87 accord lx?

HI Honda offered this motor that year with either Fuel Injection or with a 2bbl Carburetor. If you have a fuel injected motor the filter is located in the engine compartment on the fire wall about in the middle of the car. If its has the carburetor then the filter will mounted under the car next to the gas tank on the drivers side.

Where is fuel filter of 93 honda acc SE

should be on the divers side under the hood by the firwall. it doesnt look like a normal fuel filter,it will have a banjo bolt on top and a contection nut on bottem.it isnt isnt very easy to change there isnt alot of room to work around it.
