Hand brake adjustment instructions
SOURCE: seized handbrake
you'll have to jack the car up and take the wheel off, then take the assembly apart and push the pistons in the calipers back in then put it all back together and pump the brakes until they go either hard or you'll need to bleed them again to release any air from the system

Hi There,
You need to be careful about this. Ensure that it is always only when in the parking mode. The handbrakes in this model is rather fragile. Don't pull too far...and ensure it is released completely when about to drive.
Cheers

Hi tim to adjust the parking brake shoe is take off one wheel bolt and turn it untill you see the parking brake ajuster ( look like a gear) use torch and flat screw driver. first tight the adjuster untill you cant turn the wheel then undo it for atleast 8 notches

raise vehicle and remove 1 wheel stud each side, use a flashlight to see inside. While spinning the wheel you will see a adjuster that loocks like a sprocket, use a long narrow flathead to pru against this part and you will see it turn, turn it untill it locks the wheel and then back it off about three teeth

If you remove the rear wheels, through the bolt holes in the disc you should find a toothed wheel which needs to be turned with a screwdriver until the disc cannot be turned, then back off 6 teeth to prevent over adjustment and binding. (you can adjust the cables inside but this only takes up the slack and doesnt adjust the handbrake correctly) once they have been adjusted check the balance by driving gently forward and backwards whilst applying the handbarke and watching which side of the car reacts first then adjust the other side via the cable inside the car
