1zr enjine timing

Not to worry friend, when my car go sick i avoided going to mechanic looking for DIY_Repair when I found this website https://big-manuals.com/ and this book helped me repair it within an hour, all by myself!!!
From wiring diagrams, schematic illustrations, spark plugs info, parts info, chassi s number, valve time settings, step wise instructions, torque specs, error/fault codes, engine info, to every single minute parts, you get everything in there you can't imagine how detailed it is

take it to a locksmith and have a new barrel fitted
why a locksmith because he can key it so that you can use your existing fob key and will not have problems with the immobilizer system

-Read in its repair manual.

Disconnect positive battery clamp on battery.
Reconnect after 1 minute.

Hi, needs way more detiles than that, and could be millions of reasons, dos any of your warning lights on panel coms on??? Going on just that and they both not working, check the fuses and relays if possible, you can find the numbers and position of them in the manual, but usialy there is 2 or some times 3 positions that could be situated: 1. Enjine bay. 2. Inside the car(usialy in the front by steering colomb) & 3. In the boot (rite hand side). Also can check 4 came off connections in the enjine bay, if visible and check HCV unit enjine bay firewall passenger side. Good luck, hope any of that will help, but defenatly needs more details and furder investigations...

check all the fuses boxes not only the 1 in the enjine bay, but boot and inside iswell, also you can have a folty HCV- position of that is enjine bay, firewall passenger side, the solonoid in that could be shot. G/luck

both codes refer to Crankshaft position sensor A code 339 is CKT Intermittent and 341 is CKT Range Performance. you may have to replace the sensor.

Remove the spark plug of no one cylinder (nearest to the timing belt and alternator pulleys). Use a long screwdriver that fits into the hole so it just touches the top of the cylinder. Turn the crankshaft by hand untill you can feel that the cylinder has reached the highest position. Look at the crankshaft pulley for a mark that should be very near or exactly oposite a simmilar mark on the enjine block. Line up these marks for top dead center (TDC). Should degree markings found to be stamped on the enjine block, the crank pulley mark must be alined with the 0 degree mark.

This is part of the emissions system, and is normal operation.

car quits after 30 miniutes of run time no enjine codes fuel system is ok enjine will not restart untill i turn the key to the off position but will only run intermitantly untill you lit it cool down then the same thing all over again
