How to relace engine oil pump on 2005 chevy envoy

every new oil change, you will start out 100%, 50% state on your computer it just telling you that you have only used half of the oil life. when you get down to about 5-10 % is about time for the oil change. your GM mechanic will always reset the computer every time you get a new oil change.

try disconnecting the battery for 5 mins. see if the computer resets

Check your fuse, if the fuse is fine, check for broken wir or unplugged connection inside or out of tank.

check oil sending unit first. could be that it has failed and is sending a bad signal to the instruments. if it is the pump the engine has to be removed to change the pump.
