Fuel pump relay
It’s called efi and I believe it’s in the front of engine area of the car. Right side. Located in the fuse box.
Usually under the hood drivers side by the battery

relay should be inside the hood next to engine there is a fuse box cover stated what relay are uses.

The relay is probably working correctly. It should power the pump for about 3 seconds then stop until the computer sees oil pressure or RPM from the engine.
This is a safety to help prevent a fire in a wreck.
The relay should be in the fuse box in the engine compartment.

2000 corolla kept falling on its face at lower rpm and then throwing a lean code (p0171) then a cat code (p0420) I pulled the back seat out ,then pulled out the fuel pump and low and behold fuel sock was dirty. Car has 200,000 miles on it, I cut the sock off with a pair of shears and the problem went away, so new sock will go into car tomorrow. Thanks for info on fuel pump removal!
