SOURCE: when i stop at a red light or slow down in traffic

Leaking airbox is possible... make sure the airbox and air filter are properly installed and that the rubber seal is in place and the clips on the airbox are properly closed, inspect the air duct (from the airbox to the thriottle body) has no tears or holes and is secured properly at both ends...
Could also be mass air flow sensor failure or temp sensor failure - to determine this you'll have to have the cars diagnostic codes scanned at a garage.

95 buick century transmission only has 1st gear and makes a rattle noise when in park. Reverse does not work at all. I can drive in 1st gear and once it shifts into 2nd, its like shifting into N. I will...

Check the fluid level and if it low top it up. However I doubt this will fix it. The bad news is that it sounds like your transmission has had it and the only solution is to get it repaired. Take it to a specialist transmission repairer for them to do a diagnosis, but expect bad news.

Put a new transmission in and now the car from 0 to 30 has a slow start. but after that it pulls like its suppose to.

Try putting the transmission in low or 1st gear manually shift it down and try taking off as you accelerate shift it manually to 2 then drive. Did it take off like it should when you put it into low and then shift up or did you feel more power when it was in low if so it sounds like the transmission is not going into low gear but taking off in maybe second gear or even drive. When it takes off in any other gear but low it will start slow and sluggish and as you begain to gain speed it will start feel normal but thats because the speed matches the gear you in at that point. If my assistance was helpful please take the time to rate my assistance thank you.

I have a problem with my gear box i have a jeep grand cherokee

Your transmission apparently is not downshifting properly. From your description, it sounds as though it is in 2nd or 3rd gear, which is why it is slow to accelerate. When you shift into 1st, it is starting off in 1st gear as it should. You probably should have a transmission shop check it out. Check engine light on?

1997 suburban 2wheel drive when i put it in drive doesnt want to

Unless you have run over something or something has hit the linkage that you may possibly repair to adjust the gear locations to their proper place on the trans, you must get trans checked out.
