How do i select 4 wheel drive on my 1996 2.8d mitsubishi challenger

Hi, On most modern 4WD there is lever which you shift in to 4H 4L 2H and N and on others there is a button to switch in to 4WD. Check to which one you have. You should also see a green or red indicator light showing up on your dash when you are in 4WD. Good luck.

Hi,just want to know where fuse for electric aerial is situated as aerial is damaged and makes terrible noise when i start my truck and turn it off.my vehicle is a 1996 mitsubishi challenger

Hi,
Ussually the fuse is in the aerial motor connector or comes with the radio fuse.
If ur annoyed by the antenna, just disconnect the electrical connector in the antenna, not the antenna wire!

U could buy the rod of the antenna only it is chepaer than buying the whole assembly!

Order it in ur nearest parts dealer!

I have a mitsubishi challenger with a 4m40t engine

hi
First check that the temperature gauge sender unit is working correctly it maybe faulty.
Check that the transmission is not causing to much heat going through the cooler from the load which runs through the radiator if it is automatic.
Ensure that the engine has had a proper flush when all the new parts were fitted. The engine block may have blocked galleries.
Hope this helps you out, let me know what you find.

Jason
