ok 4r100, the spec for that is all over , ask your dealer? or read the FSM. or read alldata.com or good luck searching the net, its infamous for wrong answers,,, be careful of source. you never posted JOB, just top off or full fush or , new tranny??????? what? if topping off, id get real ford, fluid, 13 year old fuid there now. or jiffylubes at 100k? and ask self what did they use. god knows. and mixing fluid types, is bad news. I think about that and look at door jamb see stickers for service? ID get a full flush with correct fluid, I would.

What is the recommended maintenance for 2007 f350 superduty diesel at 55000 miles

With diesels all you really have to do is change the oil, fuel filters, air filter, and transmission filter. If you have 4x4 get the differentials service as well as the transfer case and you should be good to go.

Overdrive light flashing on 2001 F350 7.3 diesel truck

Taking a guess at it, I would have to say that the transmission fluid is thermally broke down from the heat, and stress from towing. Try to change transmission fluid and filter. If this does not fix it the transmission itself may be damaged from the excessive strain, and heat. (heat is number one cause for transmission failure. After this problem is fixed, next time NEVER tow in Overdrive. This over works the transmission, and creates the excessive heat. If you tow a lot than consider adding an after market transmission cooler. Which is only approximately 100 and up, but will save thousands in the long run:)

New truck no specs

10W30 should be fine unless that is a diesel engine... automatic transmission takes Type F fluid. Just looking around to see if i have the repair manual for that truck.
